After several delays, the Ozona Varsity Lady Lions finally got to play in their playoff opener Saturday, Feb. 20, in San Angelo.

On Monday, Feb. 22, the following Lady Lions received word that they had qualified for the Regional Powerlifting Meet: Faith Quiroz, Addyson Ortiz, Raelynn Barrera, Victoria Cerna, Ivey Rodriguez, Esperanza Castillo, Ysabella Flores, Kayleigh Hernandez and Reagan Barrera.

The Lady Lions Softball Team dropped a hard fought, 13-9, battle to Christoval Monday. Alondra Garza had a triple and knocked in 2 RBIs, while Addy Ortiz also had a triple and 2 RBIs.
