Being a mom is hard. There’s no doubt. Being a mom in a virus pandemic, well that takes superpowers in my book.
Like a lot of mothers, I wasn’t prepared when the world shutdown, schools closed and I had two kids to look after. I am blessed to have many helpers, and I am grateful to all of them.
I am also blessed, like many of you, to have more time with my kids.
No it hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows, but we have had more sunny days than rainy ones.
My heart aches when they ask about going back to school, their friends and their teachers. We’ve tried to explain what’s going on, but to a four year-old and three year-old, their normal routine is upside down and backwards.
