Michael Ray Hill, 21, died suddenly on September 15, 2018. Visitation for Michael will be 6 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, at Kerbow Funeral Home. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, September 20, at the First Baptist Church of Ozona. He was born to Ray and Sheri Hill on June 8, 1997. Michael graduated from Ozona High School in 2015. Because of his love of auto and diesel mechanics, he attended Lincoln Tech in Grand Prairie, Texas, graduating on February 4, 2017. He returned to Ozona after graduation to join his dad in working the family ranch. Anyone who knew Michael knew he always had a smile and a laugh that could light up a room. That smile or laugh usually had some kind of mischief behind it. Michael loved his family, and one of the joys of his life included playing golf with his mom at the weekly Wednesday scramble at the Ozona golf course, where he would often be seen playing in his flip flops or bare feet.

Jean Wilson Odom

Jean Wilson Odom, 89, of Ozona passed away peacefully in San Angelo, Sunday, September 2, 2018. Jean was a loving mother, grandmother and great grand-mother, but her life touched all she encountered in immeasurable ways. As a young mother and wife, her proudest days were raising her three children, Vicki, Lanhon, and Nancy. She devoted herself to her family, church, and friends and enjoyed a long professional career with State Farm Insurance. Jean was known for her quick wit, sharp tongue, and had a way of leaving lasting impressions. She was born in Vivian, Louisiana in 1929 and raised on the Bar S ranch in Reagan County. The daughter of a wagon boss and a school marm, she found companionship in the animals on the ranch and her violin. Staged against the backdrop of rural West Texas, the rhythms of her youth would shape the rest of her life. As a teenager Jean moved to San Angelo to live with her dear aunt Margaret Clark Poage and attend San Angelo schools.
