Crockett County Fire/EMS services receive donation
Ozona—Earlier this year, Phillips 66, formerly DCP Midstream, donated $45,000 to the Crockett County Fire/EMS services in Ozona. The donation supported the installation of a 100-foot self-supporting communication tower that has enhanced communications for emergency services in Crockett County.
The Ozona Fire Department was established in 1947 and changed to Crockett County Fire Department in 2020. The department services 2,975 square miles and has 25 volunteers. The oldest truck is an open-top 1935 unit, and the Ozona #1 is from 1947. Both are still used for special occasions.
A healthy Crockett County requires great community news.
