Fire department helps Santa

The Crockett County Fire Department set out with Santa and his helpers to deliver toys to the community on Dec. 22. The fire department started wrapping toys at the beginning of December and worked tirelessly to finish them.

“It is a lot of hard work. But when we see the kids' faces, it's all worth it,” Paula Ogle, station attendant for the department, said.

This year, Santa and his helpers wrapped over 1,000 presents for 91 families with a total of 258 children in the Crockett County community.
