The Crockett County Commissioners’ Court approved to form a committee to select a new Senior Center Director.

During a special meeting Tuesday morning, the commissioners approved to form a five member committee consisting of two commissioners, a member of the county’s human resources department and two members of the Senior Center Board.

Commissioner Frank Tambunga said nine applications have been received for the position.

The commissioner will screen the applications, conduct interviews and then present their candidate to the commissioners’ court for final approval.
