BREAKING: CCCCSD will have a 10 a.m. start Wednesday. Ozona Head Start and the Crockett County Public Library will not open until 10 a.m. also!
The Ozona Community Center will open at 9:30 a.m.

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for the Big Country. Snow amounts of 3-6 inches are expected with locally higher amounts possible. Further south a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for portions of the Concho Valley, Heartland, and northern Edwards Plateau until 6 p.m. Wednesday, including Crockett County.

Snow and sleet amounts of 1-3 inches are expected. Expect hazardous travel conditions to develop tonight and continue into Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service in San Angelo.

Rain before midnight, then rain, freezing rain, and sleet. Low around 27. Wind chill values between 17 and 22. Blustery, with a north northeast wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. Little or no sleet accumulation expected.
A chance of snow before noon, then a chance of rain and snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 38. Wind chill values between 14 and 24. Breezy, with a north northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Mostly clear, with a low around 21. Wind chill values between 13 and 18. North northwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming west after midnight.
