An Ozona man was indicted for allegedly stealing car and starting a car chase.

Jonathan Daniel Borrego, 33, of Ozona, was indicted by a Crockett County Grand Jury on Nov. 25 for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, burglary of a building and criminal mischief, all state jail felonies, and unlawful use or possession of criminal instrument, third-degree felony.

At 3:53 a.m. on Sept. 19, 2019, sheriff’s deputies spotted Borrego allegedly driving a black Acura tried to conduct a traffic stop after Borrego allegedly disregarded multiple stop signs in town, the release stated.
