Seventh Grade Lions blitz Junction

The Junction Eagles came to town and were mauled by the hosting Seventh Grade Lions on Sept. 26. The Lions blitzed to a 54-0 win.

The scoring began on the second play from scrimmage on a 40-yard run by Michael Daniels with the two-point conversion good by Kurt Bean for an 8-0 lead.

Daniels picked off an errant Eagle pass and after a short return set up the offense for a short trip to pay dirt. The first play of the possession resulted in a fiveyard touchdown run by Bean with the two-point conversion run by Ryan Hurst good for a 16-0 Lion lead.

The next Eagle possession resulted in a Lion score on a recovered fumble in the end zone by Hurst with the two-point conversion pass to Hudson Fowler good for a 24-0 Lion lead.

The Lions scored again on a 25-yard Bean run on their first possession in the second quarter with Hurst scoring the two-point conversion for a 32-0 score.
