School board, county disagree on bond

Any decision to call a school bond for this fall was tabled after an agreement could not be reached during a joint meeting Monday between the Crockett County Commissioners’ Court and the CCCCSD School Board.

During the meeting, the biggest disagreement was over the price tag of $40 million that has been proposed for renovations and upgrading the high school, a girls’ field house, OMS and Davidson Gym roofs and maintenance, technology and transportation needs.
