My name is Larry Sanchez and I am proud to announce my candidacy for Crockett County Sheriff on the Republican ticket in 2020.

My wife Trina and I are the proud parents of six children, one granddaughter and one grandson. I was born and raised in Crockett County and graduated from Ozona High School in 1993. I attend New Beginnings Church and am also a Firefighter with the Ozona Fire Department. I am proud to be back in my hometown to serve the people of this county with honesty, integrity and dedication.

• I began my career in law enforcement under Crockett County Sheriff Shane Fenton in 1997, as a corrections/ communications officer until 1998 when I had the honor of attending the police academy in San Angelo, Texas.

• I graduated from the Concho Valley Regional Law Enforcement Academy on October 27, 1998 and received a Basic Peace Officer’s License through the (then) T.C.L.E.O.S.E.-Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education.
