Crockett County 4-H Hosts Judging Contest

CROCKETT COUNTY 4-H NEWS

Crockett County 4-H hosted the annual Invitational Judging Contest this Saturday at the Extension Office. Fifty-three youth from seven counties participated in four contests.

In Range Evaluation, Crockett County swept all divisions with Jenna Marshall winning the Senior Division, Audrey Upham winning the Intermediate Division, and Grace Upham winning the Junior Division.

In Plant Identification, Jenna Marshall was first place in the Senior division. Audrey Upham was third place in the Intermediate Division, and Grace Upham was second place in the Junior Division.

The high point overall in Range Evaluation and Plant Identification was Jenna Marshall. Jenna received a custom-made charm donated by Larry Williams.

Wool and Mohair Judging took place after lunch. Jenna Marshall was fourth place in Wool and third place in Mohair in the Senior Division. The Intermediate Team of Kailyn Preddy, Mia Cruz and Audrey Upham was third place team in Wool and fourth place team in Mohair. The Junior Team of Michael Preddy, Lillian Bunger, Wyatt Bean and Grace Upham was second place in Wool and 3rd place in Mohair.
