David Giles Madray died in his sleep April 23, 2019, at his home in Houston, Texas. He was born June 8, 1969, in Dallas, Texas, to Giles and Becky Davidson Madray. He attended elementary school in Dallas and Shreveport, LA., and Middle and High School in Houston, where he was a band kid, graduating from Memorial High School. David was a member of Memorial Drive United Methodist Church where he was active in the Singles Ministry, taught Sunday School and Bible studies, and sang in the choir.

David was a sports fan, enjoying all the Houston teams and proud of the Astros winning or losing. He loved clothes all his life and was a neat freak, like his mother. He almost made his 50th birthday and was excited to be approved to adopt the puppy he had longed for. His name was to be King Edward.

David is survived by his parents, his sister Meredith Montgomery and her husband Clark, and his niece Georgia Rebecca Montgomery of Katy. He is also survived by Anne Davidson, Barbarra and Larry Walker, Tom Davidson, Mary Rutan, and lots of cousins and faithful friends. What more could a man ask for.

David will be buried in Ozona surrounded by lots of Davidsons. A graveside service is planned for Saturday, May 4, at 3 p.m. with Pastor Leigh Lloyd of the Ozona United Methodist Church officiating.
