2018 was another wet year for Crockett County

It was another a very wet year for Crockett County in 2018.

Last year the county received 27.93 inches of rain, according to the Crockett County Groundwater District.

This is an increase from 2017’s total of 21.67 inches. This was also the fourth consecutive year for the county to receive total rainfall more than 20 inches.

The wettest year is 1941 with 37.99 inches. The driest year is 2011 with a total of only 5.54 inches.

The wettest month in 2018 for Crockett County was October with 9.21 inches. September was second with 7.36 inches. The driest month for 2018 was January with .05.
