Nicholas “Nick” Adam Pace, age 38, of Iraan passed away February 26, 2018 Nick is survived by his wife Jade, children Angelina and Nicholas; parents Zack and Brenda Pace of Rutledge, Ga.; in-laws Juan and Carmen Flores; sister Stephanie (Eddie) Guest of Ladson, S.C.; brother-in-law Juan (Judy) Flores, sister-in-law Judy (James) Daugomah; nephew Wade Guest of Ladson, S.C., nieces Catherine Guest of Ladson, S.C., Kristina Guest of North Charleston, S.C.; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and his coworkers at Energy Transfer in Fort Stockton. Nick was born in Charleston, S.C. after graduating from Stratford High School he enlisted in the U.S. Army. Nick proudly served in Alpha Company 8th Battalion 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Ky. He served in Kosovo and Operation Iraqi Freedom. During his service Nick made many friends who became lifelong brothers. Nick married Jade Flores July 17, 2004 in Nashville, Tenn. and had two beautiful children. Nick moved to Iraan and became very active with youth sports and earned the nickname “The Legend.” Nick loved sports and fanatically followed his beloved Clemson Tigers and the Boston Celtics. Nick was a very private man and chose his friends very carefully. His life revolved around his wife, children, family and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, March 2, at Kerbow Funeral Home in Ozona, from 3-6 p.m. Internment Saturday, March 3, at Lima Cemetery, Ozona. Everyone is welcome. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Nick’s favorite charity St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
