Superintendent begins series about $5 million school bond election

Recently I was a guest at the Ozona Woman’s Forum Meeting to speak on facts about the upcoming Bond Election.

The following are questions that were asked at that meeting, and also questions that I have been asked by others in regards to the $5 million bond proposal.

The proposed bond will be used in three areas, transportation, technology and maintenance. We will use bond funds in these areas to save money normally spent out of the regular budget, and address the shortfall brought on by the repeal of ASATR (Additional State Aid for Tax Reduction) state funding.
