The Family Health Center of Ozona had another successful Flu Shot Kickoff Drive-Thru Clinic last week. "We gave approximately 300 flu shots, despite the heavy rain," said Susan Bilano, clinic director.

People still needing flu shots can walk into the clinic between 5-6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Children 14 and older, accompanied by a parent or guardian, can get their flu shot by walking in. Children 13 and under will need to make an appointment during clinic hours, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Cost for the flu shot is $30 without insurance. Medicaid does not pay for flu shots.
