Vehicle fire spreads to home

Ozona — Crockett Co Fire and EMS were dispatched at 10:18 p.m. July 2 to a vehicle fire on Pecan St. Before crews arrived on scene, dispatch notified responders the fire had spread to the structure.
The first units arrived on scene at 10:26 p.m. and reported the structure fully involved. Primary and secondary searches for occupants were completed by 10:45 p.m. No occupants were found. All utilities were disconnected.
The fire was deemed under control at 10:49 p.m. Crews continued ventilation and overhaul. The fire was deemed out by 11:06 p.m. when a full thermal imaging sweep found no heat sources within the structure.
All units cleared the scene by 11:36 p.m.

Responding were 17 personnel and 6 apparatus which included EMS. EMS ran rehab operations for fighters throughout the incident.
