Texas Rambler Media will no longer publish the names of individuals arrested by the Crockett County Sheriff's Office unless the circumstances involve an overriding public interest.

The decision reflects our belief that an arrest alone is not proof of wrongdoing. Individuals who are arrested may never be formally charged, and those who are charged are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

We remain committed to informing the public while balancing the potential long-term impact that publication of arrest information can have on individuals and families.
