4‑H members excel in contests

Crockett County—Crockett County 4‑H members brought home an impressive set of awards this month as they competed in both the MJ Hanna Range Evaluation Contest and the Sonora Range & Plant ID Contests.

At the MJ Hanna Range Evaluation Contest, Luke Stuart earned 2nd High Junior Individual and was awarded $500. 

The Junior Team of Luke Stuart, Ryker Dean, Liberty Williams, and Grey Pierce captured 1st Place, showcasing strong skills across the board. 

The Senior Team of Klacey Dean, Justin Stuart, and Lawson Williams placed 3rd, while Lundyn Williams represented Crockett County as an individual competitor.

Crockett County continued its success at the Sonora contests, earning top honors in both Range Evaluation and Plant ID.

In Range Evaluation, Juniors Grey Pierce and Lundyn Williams placed 1st and 3rd individually. 

The Junior Team of Lundyn, Grey, Liam Morrow, and Legend Morrow secured 1st Place. 

The Intermediate Team of Liberty Williams, Ryker Dean, and Luke Stuart earned 2nd Place.

In the Plant ID Contest, Juniors Grey Pierce and Lundyn Williams placed 2nd and 3rd individually. 

Their team, Lundyn, Grey, Liam, and Legend, finished 2nd overall. 

The Intermediate Team of Liberty, Ryker, and Luke also earned 2nd Place. 

Senior competitors Justin Stuart and Lawson Williams represented Crockett County as individuals.

These strong results highlight the dedication, preparation, and growing expertise of Crockett County 4‑H youth in Range and Plant ID. The program continues to build confident, knowledgeable students who excel in contests across the region.
