Incident Summary

March 16:

Deputies assisted motorists with vehicle lockouts on Avenue E and Sheffield Road, responded to a child custody standby on State Highway 163, investigated an abandoned vehicle on 14th Street, and assisted an outside law enforcement agency on FM 2083.

March 17:
Deputies responded to a reckless driver and a welfare concern on IH-10, assisted with a vehicle lockout on Sheffield Road, and investigated a suspicious person on State Highway 163.

March 18:
Calls included a vehicle lockout on Avenue B, a reckless driver on State Highway 163, a welfare concern on Grey Hawk Trail, a report of damaged property on Avenue E, and two criminal trespass incidents on Blas Street and Santa Anna Street.

March 19:
Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash on State Highway 163 alongside EMS and DPS, investigated a business alarm on Sheffield Road, checked on a suspicious person on Walnut Drive, assisted with a lockout on Taylor Box Road, and handled a 911 open line on Avenue E.

March 20:
Deputies addressed loud noise complaints on Ramos and Encino streets, responded to a disorderly conduct call on Ramos Street, checked a welfare concern on Highway 163 South, assisted stranded motorists on IH-10 and Avenue E, and investigated a threats complaint on State Highway 163.

March 21:
Calls included a loud noise complaint on Rugged Road, a disturbance on Avenue E, damaged property on State Highway 163, a reckless driver on Avenue A, and a motor vehicle crash on Sunset Drive with EMS and DPS assisting.

March 22:
Deputies responded to a crash on State Highway 163, assisted another agency on IH-10, conducted a child custody standby on Live Oak Drive, assisted a stranded motorist on IH-10, supported fire personnel on State Highway 137, and handled a disturbance on 14th Street.

Arrests

  • An individual from Houston, Texas — Arrested for Duty on Striking Fixture/HWY Landscape ≥ $200. He was arraigned, posted bond, and released. 
  • An individual from Ozona, Texas — Arrested for Assault Family/Household Member – Impeding Breath. He was arraigned and remains in custody. 
  • An individual from Ozona, Texas — Arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest/Search/Transport. He was arraigned and remains in custody. 
  • An individual from Ozona, Texas — Arrested for Duty on Striking Fixture/HWY Landscape ≥ $200. He was arraigned, posted bond, and released.
