Sharp minds shine for Ozona

Ozona—The Ozona Middle School Texas Math and Science Coaches Association team earned top honors at two recent competitions, qualifying several students for the state meet.

The team won sweepstakes at meets held in Crane and Pecos last month. Ozona’s number sense, calculator and mathematics teams each placed first.

Students competed Saturday, March 7, at Andrews Middle School as part of the Texas Math and Science Coaches Association competition season.

The following students qualified for the state competition: Ethan Ramone, Andres Rodriguez, Adrian Fullingim, Atli Oglesby, Savannah Dalton, Ximena Mata Fraga, Brady Fierro, Jude Fierro, Sawyer Heathcott, Lincoln Morrow, Vincent Ayala, Nico Fullingim and Holden Goedrich.
