Ozona—The Crockett County Sheriff’s Office responded to a variety of calls and made several arrests during the reporting period from Jan. 12 through Jan. 18, according to the department’s weekly activity report.

Activity Summary:

Incidents:
From Jan. 12 through Jan. 18, Crockett County deputies responded to multiple incidents throughout the county.

On Jan. 12, deputies were dispatched to Avenue I for a trespass report, responded to a motor vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 190 with EMS and DPS assistance, and investigated a welfare concern on Interstate 10. Deputies also assisted two motorists on Interstate 10 and addressed loud music on 14th Street.

On Jan. 13, deputies assisted Val Verde County with a motor vehicle crash on State Highway 163, which also involved EMS and DPS. Deputies were dispatched to Mulberry Drive for a burglary report.

On Jan. 14, deputies responded to a welfare check on Avenue E, assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle on Del Rio Street, investigated a motor vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 190 with EMS assistance, and aided a stranded motorist on Interstate 10.

On Jan. 15, deputies addressed loud music on Avenue H, responded to a suspicious vehicle on Avenue E, assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle on Avenue E, conducted a welfare check on Leal Street, responded to a motor vehicle crash on Interstate 10 with EMS, fire, and DPS assistance, assisted a motorist on Del Rio Street, and investigated a suspicious person on Piedra Street.

On Jan. 16, deputies responded to a welfare check on State Highway 163, a suspicious person on Santa Anna Street, a motor vehicle crash on State Highway 163 with EMS and DPS assistance, and investigated a reckless driver on Interstate 10.

On Jan. 17, deputies investigated trespassing on Martinez Street, a suspicious person on Blas Street, a welfare check on State Highway 163, assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle on 14th Street, and investigated a reckless driver on Interstate 10.

On Jan. 18, deputies conducted a welfare check on Avenue C, assisted citizens with locked vehicles on Avenue F and Sheffield Road, responded to a residential alarm on Avenue G, investigated a reckless driver on Owens Street, and responded to a suspicious person on 15th Street.

Arrests:
During the reporting period, Crockett County deputies made several arrests for various offenses.

On Jan. 12, Brandon Michael Lee of Ozona was arrested for falsification of drug test results. He was arraigned and remains in custody.

On Jan. 13, Reynaldo Sustaita Garcia of Hidalgo was arrested for a Class C liquor violation. He was arraigned, posted bond, and released.

On Jan. 17, Mark Adam Alvarez of Ozona was arrested for failure to appear—assault causing bodily injury to a family member. He was arraigned, posted bond, and released.

All individuals listed in the Sheriff’s Report are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
