Ozona—Crockett County 4-H recently announced its selection as a recipient of a National Rifle Association (NRA) Foundation Grant. This award brings new opportunities to the growing youth program, which continues to see increased participation and interest from young people throughout the community.
The grant provided Crockett County 4-H with a new equipment and resources designed to enhance its outdoor education and shooting sports programs. These additions will help provide safe, hands-on learning experiences for 4-H members, allowing them to develop valuable skills such as marksmanship, responsibility, and discipline in a supportive environment.
“We are incredibly grateful to the NRA Foundation for this generous support,” Rebecca Taylor from Crockett County 4-H. “As our program grows, so does the need for quality equipment and resources said. This grant helps us meet that need and continue offering strong, educational experiences to our members.”
The NRA Foundation, the charitable arm of the National Rifle Association, supports programs across the country that promote firearms safety, education, and youth development. Their grants are awarded to local, state, and national organizations that share a commitment to these values.
Crockett County 4-H plans to use the grant items to support upcoming events and training sessions throughout the year. With continued community support and partnerships like this, the program remains committed to fostering leadership, responsibility, and personal growth in local youth.
“We cannot thank the NRA Foundation enough for their support,” Taylor said. “This grant is an investment in our youth and in the future of Crockett County 4-H.”
