The Crockett County Sheriff’s Office responded to a variety of calls during the week of Sept. 22–28, 2025. 

Weekly Totals 

  • Livestock/wild/domestic animal complaints: 0 
  • 911 medical/fire: 10 
  • Civil complaints: 1

Incidents 

Sept. 22 – Deputies responded to Avenue J for a disturbance. One motorist was assisted with a locked vehicle on Avenue O. Deputies also investigated a reckless driver reported on Interstate 10.
Sept. 23 – A stranded motorist on Interstate 10 was assisted. Deputies responded to Crockett Heights for a suspicious person report.
Sept. 24 – Welfare checks were conducted on Leal Street and 2nd Street. Another citizen was assisted with a locked vehicle at Crockett Heights.
Sept. 25 – Deputies handled a 911 open line concern on 11th Street and a harassment complaint on State Highway 163. Citizens were assisted on Highway 163 and Avenue D, and a suspicious person was reported on Avenue E.
Sept. 26 – Welfare checks were conducted on Leal Street and Monterey Street. Deputies responded to a disturbance on Avenue E, investigated a theft on Highway 163, and assisted a stranded motorist on Avenue E.
Sept. 27 – Deputies responded to disturbances on 11th Street and 14th Street, a reckless driver on Avenue I, and a 911 hang-up on 14th Street. A citizen was assisted with a locked vehicle on Avenue O.
Sept. 28 – Deputies investigated a reckless driver on Interstate 10, a suspicious person on War Admiral Street, and provided a civil standby on 14th Street. 

Arrests 

Sept. 26 – 

  • Cory Thomas Coburn of Odessa was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 <1G and Driving While Intoxicated/Open Alcohol Container. He was arraigned, made bond, and released. 

  • David Quijano Jr. of Houston was arrested on the same charges. He was arraigned, made bond, and released. 

Sept. 27 – 

  • Brianna Lisa Hilario of San Angelo was arrested for Motion to Adjudicate/Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 <1G and Bail Jumping/Failure to Appear. She was arraigned and remains in custody. 

Additional Notes 

  • CCSO deputies patrol school zones each school day during morning, noon, and after-school hours. 
  • Deputies and the Constable escort the Ozona Lions football team to all out-of-town games.
