EXTREME WILDFIRE DANGER ALERT
Due to dry, drought-like conditions, Crockett County is under an “Extreme Wildfire Danger Alert” and has been included in the state disaster proclamation issued by Governor Rick Perry in response to the threat posed by wildfires rapidly spreading in areas across the state. Crockett County Commissioners’ Court advises all residents and visitors to proceed with caution when working outdoors, especially on dry, windy days.
