31st annual Sixth Grade Field Day

BY DIANE WOMACK

On April 21, Crockett County Soil and Water Conservation District and NRCS hosted the 31st Annual Sixth Grade Field Day and Ninth Annual Marty Acton Memorial.

The all day event was held at Jack Baggett’s ranch, 10 miles south of Ozona. We had about 80 that attended this year.

We were blessed with beautiful weather this year, especially welcome after a rather cold and misty day last year. We had seven presenters and a time keeper to help make the field day a success.
