4-H Shooting Sports meeting Monday
The first meeting of the Crockett 4-H Shooting Sports will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, at the 4-H Shooting Range. Anyone interested in participating is welcome to attend. For more information, call 392-2721.
NHS sponsoring Teddy Bear Drive
The Ozona High School National Honor Society will be sponsoring a Teddy Bear Drive on Feb. 10 during the basketball games at the OHS Davidson Gym.
Students will be collecting new, stuffed animals and then donating them to the local sheriff's department, fire department and the Texas DPS for them to distribute at accidents and fires to children as a source of comfort during a traumatic experience.
Each donor will receive a coupon for free nachos in the concession stand.
The NHS members will be set up at both the front and back entrance.
