Ann Baggett Oswald
Mrs. Ann Baggett Oswald of Fayetteville, Ga. passed away Dec. 21, 2009. She was a longtime member of Fairburn First United Methodist Church and also a den mother for the Cub Scouts. Mrs. Oswald was a drill team sponsor at Campbell High School and was involved in Habitat for Humanity and the American Cancer Society.
She is survived by her husband, Duane Oswald of Fayetteville; daughter, Carol Moore of Peachtree City, Ga.; sons, Tommy Oswald and his wife Jenna of Williamson, Ga.; Steve Oswald and his wife Joanna of Douglasville, Ga.; sister, Sally Griffis of Peachtree City, Ga.; grandchildren, Joshua Oswald and his wife Dana of Fairburn, Ga.; Justin Oswald of Fairburn; Rachel Oswald of Douglasville; Bradley Moore of Peachtree City; Jordan Moore of Peachtree City; Jacob Oswald of Douglasville and Nicholas Oswald of Douglasville; great-grandchildren, Collin James Oswald and Jason Clure.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009 at Fairburn First United Methodist Church with remains placed in state. Dr. Judson B. Hodges Jr. and the Rev. Vicki Smith officiated. Interment followed at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
